Emily Sutton, RD MNutr, is UK registered dietitian with the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), with over 10 years experience.

Emily qualified in 2007 with a Master of Nutrition degree from the University of Nottingham, and quickly went on to specialise in child and adolescent nutrition.

She has spent most her dietetic career practicing at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in various roles gaining an invaluable breath of experience. 


Areas of expertees include:

  • Diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2 including carbohydrate counting and pump therapy)

  • Infant feeding and weaning

  • Faltering growth

  • Overweight and obesity

  • Tube feeding

  • Food allergy

  • Gastroenterology including coeliac disease and low     FODMAP diet for IBS

  • Prader Willi Syndrome

  • Micronutrient deficiencies

As a mother of one who has food allergies, Emily has first hand experience in managing the challenges that this presents. ​ She loves cooking for her little one and experimenting with new flavours and recipes. 


Emily has also served as the dietitian for the specialist multidisciplinary Prader Willi Syndrome Clinic at Chelsea and Westminster hospital for over 6 years. This is one of only 3 specialist clinics in the country. 


After maternity leave in 2017 Emily joined the team at Barnet Hospital in a new part time role. ​  Emily is FODMAP trained and has spoken on a national level on this topic as well as diabetes.
